Sertan Ayçiçek is a globally recognized business leader, visionary, and philanthropist, known for his leadership excellence and strategic intelligence. With over 20 years of experience as a CEO within some of the world’s largest holding companies, he has been honored four times with the prestigious “CEO of the Year” award, underscoring his influence and impact on the global stage.
He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of IKAR Holdings, a diversified international group comprising more than 20 companies operating across aviation, technology, energy, education, healthcare, sports, and tourism. In this role, he leads large-scale, future-oriented initiatives and oversees transformative investments that generate long-term, sustainable economic and social value.
Operating at the intersection of business innovation, diplomacy, and social impact, Sertan Ayçiçek has gained direct professional experience working with the European Commission, engaging closely with EU institutions and multilateral frameworks. Through this work, he has developed deep expertise in EU governance structures, policy development, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border economic cooperation. His diplomatic background and European-level engagement have enabled him to build and sustain high-level relationships with global decision-makers—including ministers and prime ministers—providing him with a strategic, systems-level perspective on complex geopolitical and economic challenges.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and remains deeply committed to advancing economic growth while driving meaningful and positive social change.
